Some reasons why moms* rock:
They are proud of everything you accomplish, no matter how small or insignificant it may seem to you.
They can heal boo-boos with a single kiss and hug.
When you’re sick, nothing tastes better than the chicken soup they make. Even if it came from a Campbell’s soup can.
They usually do know best.
They will have faith in everything you do.
No matter how many times you argue with them or tell them to leave you alone and that you never want to see them again, they will love you.
When you’re feeling down in the dumps, they know just what will help cheer you up. Like ice cream. With rainbow sprinkles.
There isn’t anything they wouldn’t do to keep you safe and well cared for.
They will always have time to listen to you.
When you get older and have children of your own, they will love them unconditionally, smile, laugh and all knowingly say, “I told you so.”
Happy (early) Mother’s Day!
The video below has nothing to do with this post but my mom loves this movie. I love you Mom.
*Moms in this instance are not limited to the person who gave birth to you. A mom is any person who has been a significant mother figure in your life. Some examples include: grandmas, aunts, sisters or even single dads who have to be both mom and dad to their kids.
