4th of July Weekend

I hope you all had a fabulous 3-day weekend filled with amazing food, belly aching laughs, and memory making fun. Tomorrow I will get back to a more “normal” post. Today will just be a recap of this past weekend. And it feels like we did a lot.

We went to dinner at Romano’s Macaroni Grill.

Tested paint colors in our kitchen.

Took the dog on a walk.

Blew bubbles.

Played at the park.

Amara’s hair did a woo hoo thing. (Friends, anyone?)

Thalia did some homework.

And I made this milkshake.

Good times.

What did you do this 4th of July weekend?

Charlie Bucket’s Chocolate Milkshake

4 scoops vanilla ice cream

¾ cup milk

2 tablespoons chocolate syrup

2 tablespoons Oreo cookie crumbs

Whipped cream (optional)

Mini chocolate chips (optional)

Put ice cream, milk, chocolate syrup and cookie crumbs in a blender. Blend until desired consistency.

Top with whipped cream and mini chocolate chips. Enjoy!
