Fluffernutter Rice Cereal Treat Sandwich

On Tuesday I watched four kids who were ALL UNDER THE AGE OF FIVE.

I know.

I don’t know how SAHMs who have four (or more!) kids who are that young survive without wanting to drink a gallon of margaritas every night. It’s tough work! And SAHMs, don’t let anyone tell you different.

Seriously, if you are a SAHM with that many young ones, you deserve something awesome. Like a Nobel Prize. Or some Jimmy Choo shoes.

Or at the very least, one of these.

That right there? That’s a cinnamon sugar rice cereal treat.

Feel free to use just a regular one.

But you MUST use peanut butter AND marshmallow creme.

Okie dokie artie chokie?

Fluffernutter Rice Cereal Treat Sandwich

1 rice cereal treat

½ tablespoon peanut butter

½ tablespoon marshmallow crème

  1. Using a serrated knife, cut rice cereal in half horizontally.
  2. Spread peanut butter on one half and marshmallow crème on the other half.
  3. Combine halves by pressing peanut butter and marshmallow sides together.
  4. Devour.

  1. Ha, I feel ya! Everyday I watch our four kids under 3 and there are days that leave me wishing I was ok with day drinking 🙂 But fluffernutters are on of my favorite sandwiches ever and I want 5 of these right now!

    • I honestly don’t know how you guys do it. You must have immense amounts of patience. Waaaaay more than me, for sure. Also, fluffernutter sandwiches were one of my faves growing up. Have a lovely day! 🙂

  2. OK, well, I have 8 kids and I’ve been a mom for 24 years. I was a SAHM for 13 of those years. I’ve worked part-time as a nurse and now have my own nurse-entrepreneur business and still come home to cook dinner for my family. Do I still qualify for a fluffernutter sandwich?..with cinnamon, of course 🙂 Simple but perfect treat. Drop by my blog, no recipes, just life with big family and small biz.

What's up, Buttercup?
